The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers confirm that the entire B&B fandom gasped in shock when the mystery woman spying on Brooke and Ridge in Monte Carlo was revealed to be Taylor. Not that it was an impossible thing storyline-wise, but it was certainly shocking that the makers brought Taylor back after the way they had written her out.
Back in November 2023, news broke out that Krista Allen, who played Taylor back then, was exiting the soap. Some news reports claimed that Tyalor was being written out because they wanted to demote her to Recurring, while Krista did not want to give up her contract status. However, the tides have suddenly changed!
The Taylor that “wasn’t needed” back then, has been brought back to create a stir. However, The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers confirm that the role has been recast, and soap vet, Rebecca Budig, is now the new Taylor Hayes. But why? They can’t really be hoping to revive the old love triangle that has now become stale.
Agreed, B&B thrived on Ridge waffling between Taylor and Brooke for years, But you have to stop rehashing at some point, right? So what could be the reason behind weaving Taylor back into the tapestry? Could she be meaning to wage a different kind of war, a professional one? The CBS soap is all about fashion, but we haven’t seen a fashion face-off in years!
What if Taylor is about to start her own business venture? If that’s the case, she would certainly have Steffy’s support. She has certainly become tired of Brooke and Hope being in her face at work all the time. In fact, she very recently expressed her resentment to her father. However, Ridge just swept it under the rug!
So, we can safely assume that Steffy would be more than willing to join forces with her mom to give stiff competition to Forrester Creations. Moreover, Thomas too, could jump ship. After all, we don’t see why he would like to work alongside Hope at FC after the way she broke his heart. In fact, Tyalor may even find an investor who’d be more than willing to help her burn Ridge’s career down to the ground. Bill Spencer, of course!
